North York is a beautiful region in which to live. It makes us the northern part of Toronto, which abuts York Region. It is made up of a combination of new homes, war-time houses and everything in between. Many people from York region and other areas outside of Toronto frequently park at Finch station in North York to save time and frustration on commuting to Toronto’s downtown core for work or to the city to visit tourist attractions.

North York is also a great place to raise a family, as it offers over 40 public, Catholic and private schools, plus many walking trails, parks, libraries and recreation centres. Plus, it is home to York University, Seneca College and other post-secondary institutions, which makes it great for families with older teens or young adult children and for students who move here on their own to go to school.

Why buy a pre-construction home in North York, rather than buy a resale home in North York? For one, there is a lack of supply of resale homes for sale in this region, and those that are for sale are mostly houses, which require a lot more work, tools, furniture and other supplies than an apartment-style condos or townhouse-style condos do. So, if you don’t want to have to do yard work, put your garbage and recycling to the curb every week, shovel the snow in the winter, or do more cleaning than is absolutely necessary, living in a house is not for you.

But, with condo-style living, other people take care of the yard work, snow shovelling and other things for you.
